DESCRIPTION:Leadership Exchange Lunch with guest speaker\, Aaron White\, El
 lis County Coalition. Only 5-6 attendees will be accepted\, so RSVP ASAP t
 o be included. Aaron White is the Executive Director of the Ellis County C
 oalition for Economic Development. A native of Iowa and Marine Corps veter
 an\, Aaron was transferred to Salina\, KS in 2001 with Cargill\, Inc. Aaro
 n has an extensive background in agriculture/agribusiness: production\, op
 erations\, marketing\, logistics\, and merchandising. Aaron was also a lic
 ensed commodities trader. Aaron accepted a position with the Salina Area C
 hamber of Commerce in 2008\, working in economic development with industri
 al/warehouse/distribution companies\, new business recruitment\, some reta
 il recruitment\, and grant writing. Aaron spent a great deal of time promo
 ting exporting to Salina businesses\, including the formation of the Salin
 a Export Council. Aaron accepted his current position with the Ellis Count
 y Coalition in Sept. 2011\, with a focus on workforce development\, afford
 able housing\, and entrepreneurship. Aaron continues to champion Kansas ex
 ports in his new role. Aaron has a B.A. from Buena Vista University in Pol
 itical Science and Psychology\, and an M.B.A. from Kansas Wesleyan Univers
 ity. He currently sits on the board of the Mid-America District Export Cou
 ncil\, the Kansas International Trade Coordinating Council\, Pioneer Count
 ry Development\, and the Local Area 1 Labor Workforce Investment Board. Da
