DESCRIPTION:All area child care providers are welcome to attend the FREE Ch
 ild Care Provider Quarterly Professional Development Series. Attendees wil
 l receive two credit towards annual recertification requirements. Speaker:
  Dana Stanton\, Childcare Program Specialist with the Innovation Center To
 pic: Early Childhood Screening: A Guide for Childcare Providers Descriptio
 n: This training will familiarize childcare providers with the various scr
 eenings available for young children in their care to include the ASQ:3 De
 velopmental Screening and the CDC Developmental Milestones Checklist. Part
 icipants will receive information on vision\, hearing and dental screening
 s and where to access these screenings locally. Finally\, the presentation
  will educate providers on the appropriate course of action for concerns w
 ith a child's development. There will also be a prize drawing for attendee
 s that evening. This is a wonderful opportunity for child care providers t
 o connect with fellow professionals and build strong networks. A special t
 hank you to the Robert E. & Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation for their spons
 orship of this series! Date & time details Child care providers will be tr
 eated to a delicious meal from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.\, with the formal works
 hop beginning at 6:30 p.m. Fees & registration details RSVPS are requested
