DESCRIPTION:High school students and local employers are invited to connect at our Part-Time Job & Internship Day - a hands-on hiring event designed to match motivated students with meaningful work and internship opportunities in our community.\n\n\n\nThis interactive event gives students the chance to meet face-to-face with businesses that are actively hiring\, ask questions about different roles\, and make a strong first impression. Students will come prepared with contact information that includes their name\, phone number\, and email address so employers can easily follow up.\n\n\n\nLocal businesses are encouraged to bring business cards and printed information about the positions they have available. During conversations\, employers will share:\n\n	The types of jobs or internships they're offering\n	Expectations for the length and longevity of the position\n	Required skills\, responsibilities\, and training\n\n\n\nStudents will be asked to share:\n\n	Their availability (including any gaps due to school\, activities\, vacations\, or other commitments)\n	Their interests and goals\n	Any questions about job expectations\n\n\n\nThis event is designed to help both students and employers find the right fit to create strong work experiences that benefit our students and our local workforce.
