His team focuses on commercial business development\, financing solutions and payment services throughout northcentral and northwest Kansas.  Shane's banking career spans 19 years through retail\, small business\, and commercial banking.  He joined Commerce Bank in 2008.\n\nShane is a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.  He is actively engaged in community activities and organizations   currently serving as a board member for the USD 489 Athletic Booster Club.  Shane is a 2015 graduate of the Leadership Hays program and has completed Commerce Bank's multi-year leadership program as well.  He was the 2011 recipient of the Eagle Communications Rising Star Award presented by the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce.  Prior service includes board involvement on The Chamber of Hays\, Kansas (2019 Chairperson)\, Hays Area Children's Center\, Hays Area Young Professionals\, as well as a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the United Way.
