The Downtown Hays Development Corporation (DHDC), known publicly as The Bricks in Downtown Hays, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2001. The Bricks serves as a connector, convener, and champion for Historic Downtown Hays, working to support a thriving district where commerce, culture, community, and history come together.
By fostering partnerships, encouraging investment, supporting events and initiatives, and promoting the district’s unique character, The Bricks helps ensure downtown remains a vibrant and welcoming place for Hays residents, the surrounding region, and visitors.
