Jan 25, 2024 6:00 PM | Ends Jan 25, 2024 8:00 PM | The Rose Garden Banquet Hall & Catering 2350 E 8th St.
About this event
Child care providers are crucial to the positive development of the infants, toddlers, and children they serve. Join Sabina Hoffman, Developmental Inclusion Specialist from KCCTO KITS ITSN to explore how child care providers can advocate on behalf of the children they serve by:
  • Advocating for children’s different needs
  • Addressing developmental milestones
  • Understanding the screening process
  • Utilizing local resources to support the needs of children and families
Those attending this workshop will receive 2 hours- worth of credit towards the annual 16-hour certification requirement.
Child care providers will be treated to a delicious meal from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with the formal workshop beginning at 6:30 p.m. There will also be a prize drawing for attendees that evening. This is a wonderful opportunity for child care providers to connect with fellow professionals and build strong networks.
Thanks to the Robert E. & Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation for sponsoring this year’s Child Care Provider Professional Development series as well as the Child Care Task Force of Ellis County for providing these quarterly opportunities to area child care providers.
