Leadership Exchange Lunch with guest speaker, Aaron White, Ellis County Coalition.
Only 5-6 attendees will be accepted, so RSVP ASAP to be included.
Aaron White is the Executive Director of the Ellis County Coalition for Economic Development. A native of Iowa and Marine Corps veteran, Aaron was transferred to Salina, KS in 2001 with Cargill, Inc. Aaron has an extensive background in agriculture/agribusiness: production, operations, marketing, logistics, and merchandising. Aaron was also a licensed commodities trader.
Aaron accepted a position with the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce in 2008, working in economic development with industrial/warehouse/distribution companies, new business recruitment, some retail recruitment, and grant writing. Aaron spent a great deal of time promoting exporting to Salina businesses, including the formation of the Salina Export Council. Aaron accepted his current position with the Ellis County Coalition in Sept. 2011, with a focus on workforce development, affordable housing, and entrepreneurship. Aaron continues to champion Kansas exports in his new role.
Aaron has a B.A. from Buena Vista University in Political Science and Psychology, and an M.B.A. from Kansas Wesleyan University. He currently sits on the board of the Mid-America District Export Council, the Kansas International Trade Coordinating Council, Pioneer Country Development, and the Local Area 1 Labor Workforce Investment Board.
