Jana's Campaign and The Chamber in Hays, Kansas are proud to partner on this event to help share resources in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
This two‑hour training is offered at no cost to businesses thanks to grant funding, and it provides practical guidance for employers and employees who want to strengthen safety, respect, and well‑being in the workplace. During the session, participants will:
- Gain a deeper understanding of relationship‑based violence and its effects in the workplace
- Identify strategies and a prevention model to help create a supportive, healthy workplace culture free from violence and harassment
- Understand organizational responsibilities in addressing workplace violence and supporting employees experiencing violence
- Receive and review a variety of resources that can be used to support ongoing prevention and response efforts
