Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Agronomist to join our team in Palco, Kansas. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with producers, providing expert advice on crop production, and managing our application team to ensure timely and effective product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively prospecting for new business opportunities.
  • Provide comprehensive agronomic advice and recommendations to farmers and producers, including crop planning, nutrient management, pest control, and seed selection.
  • Collaborate with the application team to ensure timely and accurate application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other crop inputs.
  • Stay up to date on the latest agricultural technologies, practices, and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and product performance.
  • Represent Midland Marketing in a professional and positive manner.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in agricultural sales or agronomy consulting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of crop production practices and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of precision agriculture technologies is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year (dependent on experience)
