HVAC Service Technician

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE: 
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and replacement of residential and commercial HVAC systems. 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

“KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: These tasks are essential for effective performance evaluation and are not ranked in any particular order. 

• Provide heating and cooling service and conduct preventive maintenance for both residential and commercial clients. 

• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning units promptly. 

• Utilize various powered equipment and tools to execute tasks efficiently.  

• Prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold service standards. 

• Manage inventory and communicate effectively with the office for scheduling and reporting purposes. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 

• Proficiency in working within a dynamic work environment. 

• Fundamental understanding of construction principles. 

• Basic aptitude for mathematical problem-solving. 

• Familiarity with computer software, including Microsoft Office and email applications. 

• Possession of a Journeyman’s License is a plus, but not required. 

• Valid Driver’s License.  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 
Occasional lifting of 50lbs or more.
