Description
All area child care providers are welcome to attend the FREE Child Care Provider Quarterly Professional Development Series. Attendees will receive credit towards annual recertification requirements.
Speaker: Sarah Wasinger, President/CEO of The Chamber in Hays, Kansas
Topic: Child Care Provider Business Resources
Objectives:
1. Understand the different types of business structures and which one is best for your business.
2. Identify types of insurance coverages and how they protect you and your business
3. Utilize direct support for childcare professionals offered by state and regional organizations.
4. Access local resources that assist child care professionals.
5. Learn how to market your child care business.
At the conclusion of the training, attendees will be able to interact with a variety of agencies that support child care providers with an open resource fair. Agencies in attendance include: KCCTO, Child Care Aware of Kansas, and Cottonwood Extension District Hays.
There will also be a prize drawing for attendees that evening. This is a wonderful opportunity for child care providers to connect with fellow professionals and build strong networks.
