Position Overview:

Hearing Solutions, LLC is seeking a compassionate, friendly, and detail-oriented person to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless patient experience. The Patient Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for our patients, and we are looking for someone who can provide exceptional customer service, as part of a cohesive team, while supporting our audiologists and licensed hearing instrument specialists with administrative and patient care tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Support and Scheduling
  • Greet and assist patients at the counter and on the phone with professionalism, enthusiasm, and empathy.
  • Schedule and confirm all patient appointments, including testing, follow-ups, and hearing aid fittings.
  • Provide clear and friendly communication about hearing instrument options, warranties and maintenance

Administrative Duties Include:

  • Maintain and update patient records in our electronic health system (Sycle)
  • Process insurance claims, verify coverage and assist with billing inquiries
  • Coordinate hearing aid orders, repairs, and replacements with manufacturers
  • Manage office inventory including hearing aids, supplies and accessories

Hearing Aid Assistance:

  • Perform basic hearing aid cleanings and troubleshooting for patients
  • Educate patients on the proper hearing aid care, usage, battery replacement and

Maintenance

  • provide patients with technological assistance with hearing aid/phone connectivity with numerous hearing aid and cellphone manufacturers
  • Assist audiologists/hearing instrument specialists during hearing aid fittings and adjustments as needed

Customer Service and Outreach

  • Build positive relationships with patients and their families by providing warm and personal service.
  • Follow up with patients regarding appointment reminders and satisfaction surveys
  • Assist with community awareness and educational efforts, including community outreach and hearing health awareness events

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Must past background check and drug screening
  • No felony convictions
  • Excellent communication skills with an outgoing and friendly personality
  • Experience in a healthcare, customer service or audiology-related field is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people of all ages
  • Proficiency in medical office software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
  • Knowledge of cell phone applications and Bluetooth technology
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, stay organized and work efficiently in a face-paced office environment
